Choose the Right Marshall Office
The office that maintains the event must answer the request. Call the Sheriff for a Marshall County Jail custody exit or transfer, the clerk for the legal order and case disposition, and the named probation or corrections office for supervision. Office-specific hours should be confirmed before a visit.

Use these paths for the most common needs:
- A named released person or Sheriff record: begin with the home page search and request path.
- State parole or felony probation: FOIL first, then TDOC District 50 as disclosure rules permit.
- Local misdemeanor probation: use the judgment and Marshall County Probation.
- A state offender archive: contact TDOC Records Management, Rachel Jackson Building, Second Floor, 320 Sixth Avenue North, Nashville, TN 37243-0465, at 615-253-8079.
- A parole decision: Tennessee Board of Parole, 500 James Robertson Parkway, Nashville, TN 37243-0850, 615-741-1150, BOP.Webmail@tn.gov.
- A release alert: VINE's live operator is 888-868-4631. FOIL support is 629-888-5870 or 888-890-8183 and apps.support@tn.gov.
- Federal or immigration custody: use the official BOP or ICE locator and then request the maintaining agency's record.
Confirm Tennessee Marshall Sources
Marshall County searches often return official-looking results from counties with the same name in Alabama or Iowa. Check the state, city, street address, domain, and telephone code before calling or sharing a screenshot. Tennessee's Sheriff is in Lewisburg and uses 931-359-6122. Guntersville and the 256 code point to Alabama, while a 641 code points to Iowa. A richer out-of-state roster or app cannot answer a Tennessee release question.
